I have been a practicing retail pharmacist for over 10 years now. My first ten years I spent my working hours standing on my feet and having inconsistent lunches. At times, I did not even have a moment to finish chewing a piece of food before being called back to work. I found myself constantly looking for a piece of chocolate or a cup of coffee in the middle of the day, because I would feel faint without it.

After 10 years of working like this, my job took a toll on my health. In addition to stomachaches and headaches, I would wake up exhausted every morning and I started to experience skin problems. I didn’t feel energized after eating nor sleeping.  I easily caught flues and always felt cold.  I saw that my patients were feeling the same and they would use their lunch to run into the pharmacy to ask for help. I decided this was something I needed to correct and because of my experience as a pharmacist, I knew medication was not the answer. Not long after, I began researching and studying food from every aspect. I learned that the majority of today's illnesses are rooted in our eating and life habits so I applied what I learned to myself first.

Within a few months of eating differently and modifying my lifestyle, my stomachaches and headaches disappeared, and my skin was back to normal. I can now pinpoint the type of food that gives me stomachaches and why. I added new food to my life and ended up dropping a few pounds. I have not been sick in two years despite my constant contact with sick people on the job.

I soon realized that this was something I could help others accomplish and made the decision to train as a holistic counselor at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition ,which is the only nutritional school  integrating all the different dietary theories—combining the knowledge of traditional philosophies with modern concepts like the USDA food pyramid, the Glycemic Index, the Blood Type, the Zone, the Raw food, and Eastern conceps like the Ayurveda and Chinese Medicine and more. I learned from such great minds in healthy life style as Deepak Chopra, John Douillard, David Wolfe, Mark Hyman, and more. After completing this program, I continued studying at SUNY Purchase.

I am currently certified by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP). Drawing on my knowledge, I will help you create a completely personalized “roadmap to health” that suits your unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and goals.
